Just (95) Location
Near Liverpool Street Station. Director James Thraves London (Monday July
31st) Video shoot for just. Its being directed by this guy called James
Thraves. He just sent us this idea on an A4 piece of paper. It's about
a character who collapses in the street and then all these captions appear
on the screen as if the songs been translated. Apparently. But there are
three days of shooting and We're only for one so its pretty much out of
our hands. Thats cool. Go stand on film set Strut around like a peacock
making faces. Not a pig in sight. Good therapy.( Thom Yorke)

Street Spirit (96) Location
A stretch of desert just outside Los Angeles. Director Jonathan Glazer
we shot a video for 'Street Spirit', which involoved
staying up from 6pm to 7am for two nights, and hopefully loads of cool
effects involving something called a photosonic camera. The guy who directed
it, Jonathan Glazer, did the video for Massive Attack's, 'Karmacoma'

Paranoid Android (97)El
sueco Magnus Carlsson ha dirigido Paranoid Android. Una extraña
historia cargada de dulzura y terror. Agridulce. Dibujos animados. Robin
plantea una aventura entre la vida y la muerte. Thom ha dicho que cuando
vio a Robin le recordó a él mismo. La banda sólo aparece
un instante en una taberna, todos ellos en dibujos animados.
Karma Police (97) Dirigido
por Jonathan Glazer, Karma Police, plantea la persecución de un
hombre por un Cadillac sin conductor. Una imagen reiterativa tomada desde
el interior del coche. Una carrera contra reloj entre la muerte y la supervivencia.
Thom es el fantasmagórico ocupante del vehículo... demacrado,
tenso, dramático...

Radiohead 7 Television Commercials PARLOPHONE,
34MINUTES Radiohead have abandoned their expensive ambition
of releasing a full-length video album oF OK Computer and settled for this
compilation of their innovative, state-of-the-art promos. Street Spirit's
slowmotion techniques and the surreal, animated horror of Paranoid Android
are certainly visually impressive, but 7 Television Commercials' emotional
impact is rooted in Thom Yorke's oddly passive performances within claustrophobic
surroundings. The disembodied, out-or-sync mood of Street Spirit, Yorke's
slumped presence in the back oF a burning limousine (Karma Police) and
his water torture in No Surprises convey a startling sense oF impotence

DOCUMENTARY
RADIOHEAD are releasing a fly-on-the wall documentary
later this year charting their 'OK Computer' world tour.
The documentary is being made by 'No Surprises' video-maker
Grant Gee
and will be premiered on UK television before hitting
the stores on longform video.
Ed O'Brien explained: "We didn't want a 'rockumentary',
a warts'n'all type thing that Spinal Tap
sends up completely and is brilliant for. Grant's
been shooting us since we started promotion on the album in Barcelona.
He's got some really good stuff."
