Biografía:
Grupo de la ciudad de Bahía Blanca (República Argentina).
La primera formación, en trío, realizó sus primeros
shows en el año 2002. En ese entonces, el rockabilly, era el estilo
que caracterizaba cada presentación. Pero ese no era el único
gusto musical de Presumidos, ya que contaban con una gran influencia de
"country music". Así fue que poco a poco, descubrieron que querían
tocar "country" y en ese proyecto pusieron todas las expectativas. Fueron
definidos por especialistas, como una banda de Honky Tonk, bailable y divertido.
Se cuida detalladamente el vestuario; la puesta en escena es junto con
la música, factor de mayor importancia. Están presentando
su primer álbum "Taxi al Oeste" en el cual incluyen versiones de
clásicos y temas propios de la banda. Este disco fue difundido,
en radios de Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires, Quilmes, Lanus, San Pedro
y también en España (La Diligencia, programa de country music)
Andorra, Barcelona, Girona, Pirineos, Costa Brava, Alicante, Madrid, etc).
Actualmente cuentan con un repertorio en el que se incluyen versiones de
Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash, Creedence, Alan
Jackson, Gene Pitney, entre otros y temas propios ("C´est la vie",
"Sorry woman" , "En Saint Petersville", etc. Lo mas trascendente es la
participación en el internacional "SAN PEDRO COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL",
el 28 de setiembre pasado. Este festival fue incluido dentro del calendario
internacional por el CMA (Country Music Asociation) y se repetirá
el 25 y 26 de setiembre próximo. Además también tocaron
en festivales (Parque de Mayo) y numerosos pubs. This is a group from Bahía
Blanca (Argentina). The first formation was a trio which gave some shows
in the year 2002. At this moment, the rockabilly was the style which characterized
each presentation. But this was not the only musical style of Presumidos,
they had a great influence of "Country Music". So bit by bit, they found
that they wanted to play "country" and they put all the expectations in
this proyect. Some critics, defined them as a Honky Tonk group, very funny
which takes care of the clothes in each show. The next album is called
"Taxi to West" in which are included classical versions and new songs.
This songs were presented in radios of different cities: Bahía Blanca,
Buenos aires, Quilmes, Lanús, San Pedro (Argentina) and the were
listened in Spain (The Diligence, a country music program) Andorra, Girona,
Pirineos, Costa Brava, Barcelona, Alicante, Madrid, etc. Actually they
have a repertoire in spanish which include songs of various singers: "Garth
Brook", "Alan Jackson", "Gene Pitney", "Johny Cash", "Waylon Jennings",
"Elvis Presley", "Chuck Berry", etc. An important aspect to mention is
that they participated in the international "San Pedro Country Music Festival"
in september, 27th and 28th 2003. This event was included in the CMA (Country
Music Asociation) and it will be repeated in september, 25th and 26th this
year.
