BIOGRAPHY/Biografia
Bassplayer and singer Espen ( x-Babel, Orange, Böyen beng etc.)
was out driving with his friend Thomas (El Caco) in southern Sweden, as
they tried to figure out whom to play guitar and drums In Espen`s new idea
of a band, Anders::Plywood. Trym Hagen (Renton, mute) used to play guitar
with Thomas in his early days, so Espen called Trym as soon as he got home
and they formed the band together late in august 2000. After a while, rehearsing
with their first drummer-Eirik Renton, (Now Psychocop), they called Kjetil
Veum which used to be the drummer in Babel, he was urging for a band, so
he joined in rightaway.
In August 2001 the band entered studio and recorded an 8 track demo.
4 tracks were picked out to become a promotional ep. 2 of the songs, Pond
and Be a fool are also available at the snowboard film Sist Vinter 3, made
by wax-tv!
During 2001 Anders::Plywood did a few gigs. The band spent alot of
time rehearsing and it started to pay off. The band were picked out to
join the zoompop compilation (early in 2002) contributing with the song
Nathan, and the song got great reviews.The gigs started to get crowded
up, People seems to enjoy great norwegian rock music!, and the autumn of
2002 a record deal was signed with the indy label Bubblesound! wanna be
the king! ep is recorded and set for release in january 2003. A 7" split
single with the band funguson was released 1 st of february. Anders::Plywood
is currently recording their follow-up, debut album! (Released trough bubblesound
in january 2004)

3, a norwegian snowboard film by the independent action sport film-company
Wax-Tv, with snowboarders such as: Danny Kass, Hekki Sorsa, Kai Arne Lien,
Thomas Olsen, Iker Fernandez, Michi Albin, Ingemar Backmann, Terje Håkonsen
among many others .
